Let's be honest: it's a bit of a mess in the world right now. We see the images on TV and we feel powerless and then we quickly look the other way.
In MOEDER THERESA WAS RAZEND! (MOTHER THERESA WAS FURIOUS!), four people stand on the threshold of a new time and that is damn uncomfortable.
While politics goes haywire and protesting doesn't help, we try to make the best of it in our own lives. We build careers and we jump into bed with people and we raise children who nowadays all have "something". One wants to move forward with the times and the other wants to go back to the past. And meanwhile, we try an open relationship that doesn't really work either.
Peter De Graef wrote a piece that is recognizable to anyone who ever lies awake. Together with Janne Desmet, Bruno Vanden Broecke, and Tine Embrechts, he brings a story that is simultaneously painful, hilarious, and moving. No heavy philosophy but just the honest truth about how we are all muddling along today. An absolute must for those who love rock-solid theater with a laugh and a tear!
