Lobbycracy or democracy?

Will you join us for our lobby walk? During a guided tour, we will pass by reflective facades, imposing offices, and intriguing nameplates of large lobby firms and EU buildings in the heart of the Europese Wijk van Brussel. We focus on what is also called the 6th power: lobbyists and advisors who, out of the public eye, try to influence EU legislation to suit their clients. In Brussel there are at least 25,000 (!) active. Who pays them? Where are their offices? How do they work? Is it true that our democracy is organized so transparently?
