Safran brings sultry soul-pop with danceable grooves, a touch of French, and a spicy individuality. Inspired by neo-soul, modern pop, and artists like Sault, Jordan Rakei, and Solange, the Ghent band creates a sound that feels warm, dreamy, and surprisingly sharp at the same time. After their debut EP (2022), the album Mosquito Jazz was released at the end of 2024, a record about getting lost in the multitude of life. Live, Safran is known for its energetic and immersive shows, which effortlessly switch between irresistible grooves and intimate moments.
