An unemployed actor gets a phone call from a renowned television production house that wants to film his life. He himself, however, does not understand it: what does his life actually represent? Everything he dreamed of until now turned out differently. His marriage hit the rocks. His work is barely seen and the relationship with his children and friends is not going smoothly either. But since he is out of work anyway, he is convinced to cooperate with the TV series. Until everything turns out differently than expected. Na Hiroshima, mon amour (1990), De Geverfde Vogel (2002), Force Majeure (2007), and Vroeger Was De Toekomst Beter (2021) is TISOVERALIETS Lesage's fifth solo performance, again characterized by his tragicomic and semi-autobiographical ironic style. 'TISOVERALIETS' reflects the bewilderment of the analog human, with his confused desires, in the digital-legal-financial swamp of current society. It is hilarious and very sad: a clownery that bites its own tail. With this company, he made more than 35 theater performances that toured throughout Flanders for almost 20 years.
