There is a man. There is a door. There is hope. The man waits. And waits. Together we wait. He does his best to play away the emptiness, but it becomes increasingly clear how this is all going to end... A journey from hope to despair, to sadness to anger, until the realization that losing someone never leaves you, and that that is okay. With a subtle, disarming and visual approach, shape is given to a theme that connects us all. Kintsugi is a clownesque, poetic and raw performance about loss, grief and comfort. A performance that touches without crushing.
