Jubilee concert for the benefit of Hand in Hand

For this benefit concert in aid of Hand in Hand, soprano Emma Posman brings together a special ensemble of luminaries from the Ghent music scene and laureates of the Lions Muziekwedstrijd. The program combines classical and light classical music with a touch of show: from opera arias by Puccini and Meyerbeer and virtuoso instrumental works to a sparkling second half with Piazzolla and a festive finale with operetta by Robert Stolz and Franz Léhar. This concert is an initiative of Lions Club Ghent Seaport, part of the international Lions network. The club is committed to social work in the Ghent area and profiles itself as a promoter of culture in all its forms. The proceeds go to Hand in Hand, an organization that supports people with high psychosocial vulnerability. From a warm, social approach, they offer proximity, recovery, and alternatives to hospitalization. In 2026, Hand in Hand will celebrate its 50th anniversary. Tickets in presale cost €42, including a reception in the cozy bar of the Minard.
