‘Get Up Stand Up’ is back! After eight great editions with, among others, William Boeva, Lukas Lelie and Kamal Kharmach as newly minted debutants, it is high time that we scoop up a good portion of fresh talent. Who will be the new queen/king/x of comedy? After a series of workshops led by über-comedians Jeron Dewulf, Soe Nsuki, Latif Ait and Thomas Smith, they play all of Antwerp flat with a series of shows. Curious about all that new talent? Get your tickets! MC of the evening is none other than Jeron Dewulf! Jeron Amin Dewulf Leiva is a Flemish actor and stand-up comedian of Chilean descent. He is best known for the popular series ‘Foute Vrienden’ and ‘Devil's Advocate’ on 2BE. He is also an internationally known improviser and won the world championship of improv in Berlin in 2006. Jeron has already led several improvisation companies and regularly performs with them at home and abroad. As a stand-up comedian, you can also often find him in comedy café The Joker in Antwerp where he regularly plays. Currently, after ‘Grom’ and ‘Survival of the fattest’ and ‘Once upon a time…Jeron Dewulf’, he is on his fourth full-evening performance ‘LATIN LOVER’.
