A lawless time when people traveled to California to realize their film dreams in the desert – and to party, party a lot. We follow a number of characters whose lives intersect in old Hollywood. Through their eyes, we are introduced to the film city that makes dreams come true but also ruthlessly crushes people. Successes are short-lived and glories relative. This is not a glamorized reconstruction, but an interpretation of a myth that is as painful and hilarious as it is wry. Babylon celebrates just as much as it mourns. It is the high and the hangover. The dream and the nightmare. This film is daring, original, indeterminate, interesting, and so much more.
