Tour: Lawrence Weiner by Laura Hanssens

During the closing weekend of RED AND GREEN AND BLUE MORE OR LESS, director Laura Hanssens will take you on Sunday, June 28 at 11:00 AM for a final tour through the exhibition of Lawrence Weiner. Several works shown in the exhibition return in different presentation forms. With language as material, Weiner's work can take shape on the wall, but just as easily be translated into a book, poster, video, or audio. His oeuvre is therefore particularly versatile. Zoals Benjamin H.D. Buchloh wrote: “From the monumental mural to the lapel pin, no wall is too large and no site too small.” Over two floors of Herbert Foundation–Loods, you will discover how Weiner uses language as visual material and thus gives a new interpretation to sculpture.
