The Countryside Festival of the Bieus Amis Gozéens

From Friday, September 4 to Sunday, September 6, 2026, the Bieus Amis Gozéens invite you to their traditional Fête Campagnarde, in Gozée. This 2026 edition will notably honor the Jubilés de Gozée and will be the occasion to inaugurate new wooden games, made by the Saint-Exupéry de Leernes Secondary School thanks to the support of the Budget Citoyen of the Ville de Thuin. Programme Vendredi September 4 From 4:00 p.m.: opening of the festivities and the bar; 7:30 p.m.: quiz (music, cinema, general knowledge…). -Teams of 5 to 10 people; -Participation: €5 per person; -Reservation mandatory (limited places). Saturday, September 5 From 10:00 a.m.: opening of the festivities and the bar; Starting at 11:00 a.m.: family day with numerous activities: -egg toss; -apple bobbing; -sack race; -bale toss; -tug of war. Free activities will also be offered to children throughout the day. Sunday, September 6 From 10:00 a.m.: opening of the festivities and the bar; 11:30 a.m.: welcome for jubilee couples; 11:45 a.m.: official speeches; 12:00 p.m.: aperitif and presentation of souvenirs; 1:00 p.m.: jubilee meal; 4:00 p.m.: tea dance. Throughout the weekend, young and old will be able to enjoy: old-fashioned wooden games; inflatable castles; numerous games and entertainment; light refreshments (barbecue, fries…) and a bar. The play area will be accessible: Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. A face painting stand for children will also be offered on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A great opportunity to share a convivial moment with family or friends and to celebrate Gozéenne traditions.
