It is a historic city on the Nete and offers a UNESCO world heritage “De Zimmertoren”.
The original tower dates from the 13th century and was then called the Cornelius Tower. It was part of the defensive belt around the city.
On Sunday, July 26, we will visit the city of Lier with our Neder-Over-Heembeek department for about 2 hours, including:
De Zimmertoren and the Zimmermuseum
Het Begijnhof and the Beguinage Church.
Meeting at the Zimmertoren on the Zimmerplein, Schapenstraat at 1:45 PM.
The guide starts the tour at 2 PM.
Participation (entrance + guide): 12 euros p.p. for members and 15 euros for non-members.
