MA Festival: Il Pomo d'Oro: Mozart

MA Festival opens in 2026 with the excellent baroque orchestra Il Pomo d’Oro, which has already been on stages all over the world. Under the direction of Maxim Emelyanychev, conductor of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and guest conductor at, among others, the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Italiaanse Il Pomo d’Oro brings two symphonies and a concerto by Mozart. Especially the performance of the Concerto in E-flat for horn, played on natural horn, is a unique experience. The evening starts, however, with contemporary music! Componist Siebe Thijs, this summer Younger than Jesus, wrote a new composition especially for MA Festival. With music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 – 1791) & Siebe Thijs (°1999)
