From train workshop to youth spot With the restoration of Hal 9 on the Centrale Werkplaatsen in Kessel-Lo, the city breathes new life into a striking piece of industrial heritage. By 2031, Hal 9 will grow into the new children’s and youth spot of Leuven. In the old workshop, there will be studios, an indoor play and sports area, and adventurous outdoor zones.
