On Saturday, July 25 , KOERS will be dedicated to people with autism. On that day, the museum, in collaboration with Tourism for Autism, is organizing a guided tour and a workshop especially for this target group. Traveling and going on trips is a relaxing, enriching activity for many people. For many people with autism, this can be accompanied by a lot of stress, causing them to avoid these activities. Tourism for Autism is trying to change this. Tourism for Autism does this, among other things, with the Come Aut & Play program, where anyone who wants to enjoy culture, nature, heritage... in a pleasant, safe, autism-friendly way can sign up. In the afternoon of July 25, KOERS will focus on families with children with autism between the ages of 6 and 12. From 2 PM to 4 PM, they will get to work in the museum with the 'KOERS Champions' workshop . Five KOERS champions from different corners of the world will take the group on a journey through the museum using playful assignments. Would you like to participate in Come Aut & Play at KOERS? More information about the activities and registration can be found on the Tourism for Autism website. Would you like to prepare well for your visit? Then you can consult a preparation document here .
