Dries Heyneman

Dries Heyneman is a Flemish screenwriter, actor, and comedian. He started his career with 'Ter bescherming van de jeugd', a cabaret duo together with Tim Goditiabois. From 2012, he worked busily behind the scenes of various comedy performances: among others, Han Solo, Piv Huvluv, Begijn Le Bleu, Freddy De Vadder, and Piet De Praitere asked him as director of their show. In 2015, Dries premiered his debut show 'Jenny'. Three years later followed his second theater show 'Uit respect voor de buren', which he successfully reprised in the spring of 2023 and with which he played one last time in a sold-out Kursaal Oostende on May 4, 2024. Heyneman also co-wrote and acted in well-known TV programs such as 'Bevergem' (VRT Canvas) and 'Grond' (VIER). In addition, he can also be seen as the Sheriff in 'Chantal' (VRT/Eén).
