De Donderdagen: Duo Un Pie plays The Carrot

'Duo un Pie' is coming to 'De Donderdagen' with their new show 'The Carrot'. 'The Carrot' is an acrobatic street theater performance in which a bicycle becomes much more than a means of transport. With spectacular acrobatics performed on and around the bike, the show offers a playful yet sharp critique of a system that constantly dangles a new reward in front of us. A reward that always remains just out of reach and moves further away as soon as we get closer. During the performance, spectators are confronted with an inevitable question: is 'The Carrot' a trap set by the system? Or is it the very drive that sets us in motion every single day? Or perhaps both? An existential question with thousands of answers: all true, all false.
