Norman is like normal, one letter away

Norman is a child like any other, only, he would like to wear dresses and until now, in his school, little boys don't wear them. So, the day he shows up in his magnificent pink outfit, he has to face the mockery and intolerance of others. In the family, it's not any simpler. It is a hymn to the freedom to be oneself that Clément Thirion proposes to us. He entrusts this desire to the pen of Marie Henry. After the play Pink Boys and Old Ladies, they met with international success with this creation adapted for children. Norman c’est comme normal, à une lettre près is a living play as light as it is profound, at the crossroads of several practices including dance which occupies a central place. Light and sound participate fully in creating an almost fairy-like atmosphere. All in softness and embodied by touching, strong, funny, and fair characters, the kosmocompany invites us to question the norm and more broadly the codes that format us. Through the eyes of a child, Clément Thirion, artist associated with Varia, proposes a beautiful displacement: the innocence, sensitivity, and sincerity of Norman help us to approach differently everything that seems frozen to us.
