Swing/Balkan Concert "Doua Lumi"

Doua Lumi is the encounter of five musicians united by a common desire:\nto revive the spirit of the mythical Quintette du Hot Club de France through a repertoire of original compositions.\nNourished by a profound passion for acoustic sounds and the richness of string jazz, the members of the group gather around an ambitious project, at the crossroads of styles and cultures.\nTheir music, at once virtuosic and warm, draws inspiration from a wide range of influences:\nManouche swing dialogues there with the enchanting rhythms of the Balkans, Creole colors blend there with the accents of musette, while the heritage of American jazz instills freedom and audacity there. Each piece thus becomes a playground for improvisation, an expression space where individualities melt into a vibrant complicity.
