Our Land

In 2009, a man and two accomplices try to drive out members of the indigenous community of Chuschagasta in Northern Argentina. They claim to own the land and arm themselves with weapons. They murder the leader of the community, Javier Chocobar. The murder is recorded on video. It takes nine years of protests before the trial finally starts in 2018. During all that time, the murderers remain at large.
