The Colvert family is facing a domestic dilemma. While Mack is totally satisfied with paddling with his family, peacefully and definitively, in their small New England pond, his wife Pam would be more the type to shake up this routine a bit to show the rest of the world to her children - Dax who is no longer a duckling and his little sister Gwen. When they welcome, for the duration of their stopover, a family of migratory ducks, it is the perfect opportunity for Pam to persuade Mack to imitate them and embark on a family journey: destination Jamaica, passing through New York. As they fly towards the sun for the winter, the Colverts' well-laid plan will quickly go awry. But the chaotic and unexpected turn that events will take will change them forever and teach them much more than they could have imagined.
