Inauguration of the Art & Plant Biennale

Since 2009, the Biennale Art & Végétal has been flourishing in the heart of the City of Giants, proudly carrying the colors of contemporary art while harmoniously integrating a plant dimension, with the aim of promoting local heritage. This collaborative initiative, led by various actors, invites visitors to explore an artistic trail within the historic center, all year round. Discover 18 plant-based works. For its 7th edition, 3 new sculptures join the trail. Don't miss the inauguration on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM. In the company of the artists, participants will stroll through the streets of the city center to discover the new sculptures, passing by certain installations that have become permanent over time. The visit will end at the Palace with a tour of the exhibition "Habiter le paysage" by Charles-Henry Sommelette and Marion Fabien, scheduled in resonance with the Biennale.
