Ma’Bluescafé with VIKTOR PUYPE AND ARNE DEMETS on 11/10/’26. At our monthly Ma’Blues sessions in Kortrijk, it is always about being able to start the week with a good feeling. The warm tunes of Soul and Blues music lend themselves enormously to that, if desired in combination with some good food - and that remains the format that we have maintained for more than 5 years on a Sunday evening. On October 11, we are happy to welcome Viktor Puype and Arne Demets to Ma’Blues. It has been quiet for a while around the duo ‘Demets & Puype’. In the shadows, they each separately wrote a handful of West Flemish songs out of an urge to better understand themselves and their world. They are now bringing these songs out. Expect an acoustic, honest, subdued set with brand-new, never-before-played songs in that typical casual Viktor and Arne style. Proud of this duo! Are you a bit hungry? Enjoy our Gumbo rice dish (a typical Louisiana specialty), Pizza slices or croques on the go and/or delicious soup.
