DUO DESEO | Apero Classico

Het Belgische Duo Deseo was founded in 2018, when cellist Ann Van Hecke and guitarist Maarten Vandenbemden brought together the deep sound of the cello and the sparkling character of the classical guitar. In 2025, Duo Deseo released his first album: El Vuelo del Deseo. Ann and Maarten bring a Spanish and South American-tinged program with music from that first album: from a smoky café, over a barren and wild landscape, over a purifying soft dream, to an ecstatic party! The music is by, among others, Albeniz, Granados, De Falla and Piazzolla. With his own arrangements, the duo has developed a unique musical formula and is praised for the spontaneous and lively character of its concerts.
