The wastelands and reworked land of Pays de Neerpede, threatened by real estate projects, are home to particular vegetation linked to soils poor in nutrients and containing limestone. Let's discover the flowering plants of the Meylemeersch plain and its surroundings. We will encounter many species rare in Région de Bruxelles, or even at the country level. We will take a route of approximately 2 to 3 km, essentially on terrain presenting no particular difficulties. However, the circuit is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Plan clothing suitable for the weather and walking shoes. Don't forget your binoculars and magnifying glass if you have them. Our animal friends stay at home.
