Opa Achiel traditionally takes the lead, but this year everything is different. Dementia is loosening its grip on time. His memories – once so vivid – are fading like a photo on a light-sensitive plate. Zoon Peter, daughter-in-law Ester, and grandson Thomas see how Achiel slowly disappears into his own past. They try to hold on to him, to bring his memories back to life. But how do you hold on to what is slowly disappearing?
