Do not miss this must-attend event in the heart of the city “Día de Muertos in the Marolles” has existed since 2018. It is an annual event founded by the TAS D'OS Collective based on a universal gesture yet forgotten by our contemporary societies: that of honoring our deceased. Having the Mexican tradition as a starting point, the Brussels version is a hybrid and joyful festival, the fruit of a collaboration between a collective of artists, the neighborhood residents, and audiences from wider circles. Through singing, crafting, words, gestures, this event offers a space and a time to remember, tell stories, reinvent gestures, take care of one's dead... Alone, with family, friends, or strangers, the public finds in Día De Muertos a contemporary framework to think/heal their dead. The event, which aims to be non-confessional, open to all in a joyful and impertinent cultural exchange. You will soon be able to discover our entire program starting October 1st.
