Archaeological cycling route along the Meuse & Albert Canal: from flint to trenches

This fascinating 30 km trip takes you along the banks of the Meuse and the Albert Canal, where the landscape whispers stories from thousands of years of history. Along the way, archaeologists guide you past breathtaking views, typical villages, and hidden archaeological sites and finds that bring every period of the past to life. The route was created in collaboration with Agentschap Onroerend Erfgoed, IOED Oost, IOED Kempen and Maasland, and the involved cities and municipalities.
