A monologue about ambition, family, and the price of success.
On his 88th birthday, plumbing entrepreneur Guillaume Van der Stighelen looks back on his life: from a young dreamer who discovers the revolutionary siphon, to a self-made businessman with a flourishing empire. Success brings love, pride, and wealth — but also cracks in his family. When a lost childhood love reappears, the past becomes inevitable.
The theater text Rozeke is based on the novel of the same name written by the great-grandson of plumbing magnate Guillaume Van der Stighelen, namely the Schoten advertising man and author Guillaume Van der Stighelen.
