With their passion, knowledge, and stories, they help keep this special monument alive. Tijdens Open Monumentendag is therefore happy to put these volunteers in the spotlight. Reserve a \"Date with a volunteer\" and discover the abbey through the eyes of someone who knows the place inside and out. Let yourself be taken to a favorite spot in the monument, listen to personal stories and surprising anecdotes, and get an exclusive look behind the scenes. Not a classic guided tour, but a unique encounter that lets you experience the abbey in a completely different way. Discover the participating volunteers and reserve your date on the Herita website. And count down to September 13 for your date in Abdij Roosenberg on Open Monumentendag! Abdij Roosenberg can also be visited freely; you do not need to reserve for that. Practical info: A maximum of 5 people can participate per date. Private dates are not possible :) The date lasts approximately 30 minutes. Before or after, you can visit the abbey at your own pace. The content of the date varies per volunteer but will always include a visit to their favorite spot and personal stories. Accessibility: Abdij Roosenberg is fully wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. There is no wheelchair-accessible toilet yet, but some toilets are very spacious, so they can be used with assistance.
