Listening concert: Scrapyard heroes

The listening concerts take place in an intimate setting, without grandstand seating. Not a stately concert, but a dynamic experience with a lot of contact between artist and audience. Expect great musicians, pure playing with minimal amplification, and a cozy atmosphere at tables with a drink.  Scrapyard Heroes is the project of Wommelgemnaar Flor Van Meensel. Together with Arne Sas (electronics), Hans Schoonis (double bass & guitar), and Tuur Vloemans (drums), the band takes the audience on a warm, sometimes alienating musical trip. The group connects acoustic sounds with electronics, which results in an intense experience live. Their debut EP Ça Va Ça Va, recorded live in the St. Janskapel van Wommelgem, will be released in the autumn of 2026.  For fans of: Alt-J, Aphex Twin, Nordmann.
