Festival van Vlaanderen Concert: Jean Petit Ensemble - at the Court!

This not to be missed Festival van Vlaanderenconcert takes us to the magnificent music from the 17th and 18th centuries. We listen to sounds and songs that took place in magnificent castles such as Versailles. Sterre Decru is in her twenties and one of the most promising mezzo-sopranos in Belgium. Flanked by the Jean Petit Ensemble, a violin from the Baroque period, and a harpsichord, the audience is almost literally catapulted 300 years back in time. You are treated to music by, among others, Elisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre, Marin Marais, and Francesco Cavalli. For this unique concert, we chose the chapel of OC 't Klooster in Vrasene!
