Alex is cynical and as romantic as a concrete mixer. He therefore goes into a Siberian spasm when his father Lucien comes to tell him that he has met someone via the internet. Vrekkige Alex suspects that Sybille is only after his money and does everything to torpedo the romance, to the annoyance of the family. But is he right? asks Als Lucien Sybille to marry, an eccentric "wedding planner" is engaged to keep everything on the right track. From then on, chaos rules and of "De Schoonste Dag" little remains except a laugh-out-loud evening full of absurd family antics, hilarious stupidities and top-notch costly humor.
