Chamber music with strings and percussion

Five musicians of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra made an idiosyncratic selection of contemporary works that are close to their hearts. Each composer challenges the classical string quartet, in search of a new identity. From a dialogue with percussion and technology, rhythm and memory, an often unexpected transformation arises, which you experience up close. This way, you are drawn into a deep connection between musicians and music. This program does not let go of tradition, but sets it in motion.
