Woodturning for beginners - Keepsake jar! During this workshop (1 on 1), I will guide you through every step of the creation process, from selecting from the available wood, preparing the sawing and drilling work, to the finest details you wish to apply manually during woodturning. During this workshop, you will enjoy the fine properties of wood, feel the warm wood in your hands, and smell the wonderful scents that are released during processing. Afterward, you will go home with a unique, self-made "Keepsake jar" that you will enjoy for a long time. Really something for you because... You find making home decor fascinating, more fun than just throwing it into your shopping cart! You are eager to learn and want to expand your skills! You want to de-stress and get away from the daily grind; I will teach you how to handle cutting tools in a calm and sensitive way, allowing you to forget about space and time for a while. You want to completely lose yourself in a new hobby. You think it is important to take some time for yourself. You have wanted to do something with woodworking for so long, but it never happens. You know that with some help and the necessary tools, you can push your creative boundaries. You find wood a fine material to work with. You want to learn something about gouges, turning chisels, and why they differ so much in shape? You want to create something durable for yourself or friends with tools. Attention! Self-made home decor is a wonderful gift idea for yourself, but perhaps you would like to grant someone else something just as beautiful :) In a warm, pleasant, domestic atmosphere, you will learn about wood types, reading wood grain, and handling cutting tools. You are welcome in the accompanying studio (My Happy Place To Be) where, under supervision, machine operations can be performed on your workpiece. To bring yourself Your spontaneous self :) No special clothing is really needed for this woodturning workshop, a small amount of wood shavings are released during woodturning. Perhaps it is best not to wear clothing with loose sleeves; otherwise, regular clothing is sufficient. Or you can bring an extra piece of clothing that can get a bit dusty; there is time and space to change if you feel the need. Standaardpakket Ons standard package contains all necessary materials to make one "Keepsake jar" per participant, including the use of all necessary tools to experience the craft and art of woodturning. Free forms! You are free to work out your own design or idea with the provided wood, or you can let yourself be inspired by the home decor as pictured. Moreover, you will take your own creations home with you, along with the knowledge and experience gained! Prior knowledge of woodworking is not required; with this workshop, we mainly want to provide a creative experience for you as an enthusiastic participant in a pleasant atmosphere. An excellent opportunity to learn more about the craft of manual woodturning. Taking time for a Coffee/Thee Pauze (with cookies :)) The ideal moment for some insight/explanation about our modern woodworking machines and how they were used in the various workshops from our offer. Looking forward to seeing you soon! #Stoer
