Afternoon concert 'Alchemy of Sound' with tea and coffee

As autumn slowly settles in deeper and the world turns inward, we open a space for transformation. 'Alchemy of Sound' is a sound healing concert in which vibrations work like alchemy: they soften what is tense, bring movement where things are stuck, and invite inner replenishment. This concert will be a rich, layered sound bath of many instruments that will let you sink deeper into rest and consciousness. Handpan, native flute, singing bowls, gongs, string instrument... it will be a concert full of variety. Together, we seize this moment to slow down with the seasons, to let go of what no longer serves us, and to make room for new clarity. A yoga mat, blanket, and pillow will be ready upon your arrival. You don't need to bring anything yourself. Biografie Andy Vanbeveren is passionate about music and its effects on people. What once started with singing bowls and gongs has since grown into a collection of more than 350 instruments. Native American Flute, didgeridoo, handpan, tongue drum, all kinds of percussion and drums, numerous string instruments, piano, and many other world instruments belong to his unique collection. He completed various training programs both at home and abroad and had the privilege of learning from many great 'masters' in their field, such as Hans de Back (singing bowls), Shree Krishna Shahi and Santa Ratna Shakya (singing bowls), Don Conreaux (gongs), Michael Telepary (Native American Flute), Nestor Kornblum (overtone singing),... Since 2010, he has more than 1000 concerts to his name. Not only throughout Flanders but also in the Netherlands. He has performed at Tomorrowland, the Japanese Garden in Hasselt, Casino van Blankenberge, numerous cultural centers, churches, etc. He is known for his constant innovations in sound combinations. A passion that he now also knows how to interpret through live looping. In the past, he has played together with other musicians such as Tylaine Van den Broeck (piano), Gilbert Isbin (lute), John Snauwaert (sax), Michael Telapary (American Native Flute), Nicolas Mortelmans (sitar), Hari Paudjal (bansuri flute), Hélène Philippart (bansuri flute and transverse flute), Manish Pingle (slide guitar), Catherine Maes (mezzo-soprano), Bart Gits (taiko), Kees Kort (shakuhachi), Aki Vergels-Sato (koto), Cantavita (overtone singing), etc. In addition, he has already accompanied numerous yoga sessions, meditation, team building events, festivals, Ecstatic Dance, etc.
