A shy pianist falls in love with a world-famous mezzo-soprano in Naples. He experiences all the emotions that come with it: butterflies in the stomach, insecurity, despair, betrayal and — of course — plenty of passion. And her? She sings about it, with all the drama and warmth that Naples has to offer. Thomas Eeckhout and Eleonora Luè pay tribute to Naples’ sultry arias and timeless tunes, while simultaneously playing a tragicomic version of themselves. Does it end well?
