Buitenbeenpop 2026: music festival for everyone On Friday, August 28, 2026, Buitenbeenpop will take place, a unique open-air festival that is fully tailored to the needs and wishes of people with a disability. Listening to, making, and experiencing music evokes strong emotions, and that is precisely why Buitenbeenpop wants to make this experience even more accessible to everyone. The festival offers numerous adapted facilities, such as wheelchair-accessible paths, adapted sanitary facilities, rest areas, and care facilities. In addition, Vlaamse Gebarentaal interpreters and blind interpreters are present so that no one has to miss any of the program. This makes it a warm and caring festival day tailored to the individual. Buitenbeenpop is for everyone: people with and without disabilities enjoy music and atmosphere together. People with a disability are central and receive the attention they deserve. The municipality of Essen provides bus transport to this festival.
