Casino 'Battle' Royale - Videodroom 2026

‘Do you expect me to talk?’ ‘No, Mr Bond, I expect you to SING!’ We are making it extra extreme on October 17th. A bunch of highly diverse Belgian artists are bringing - on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of 'Casino Royale’ - a quirky homage to the film music of the James Bond film universe. Some 13 artists each chose one of the Bond title songs to cover. One will do so more recognizably than the other. From stripped-down piano versions to contrarian Dutch-language covers to sullen electronics and who knows what else. We will drop the full line-up all at once at the end of this summer. Following this, we celebrate the closing party of Videodroom and Film Fest Gent in our cafe and ballroom with an extra package of live performances & DJs entirely in Bond theme.
