During a stormy weekend, a young woman breaks into the home of Paul, a bon-vivant who 'studies' medicine at his parents' expense. Paul has the peculiar habit of lending his key to Tom, Dick and Harry. When she is unexpectedly caught, she finds herself forced to assume a different identity. As if that does not create enough confusion, new visitors constantly pop up, each with their own expectations, secrets and reasons for being present.
