FAMILY SHOW/MUSIC THEATER - The girl sticks her head out the window. She hears her neighbor. He drums and rolls and plucks and hammers on everything he can find. TakkediTikkediBoemboingBang! It makes her knees tickle, her legs stomp, her head wobble. She becomes completely ScibbedieScabbedieDoedeliedie! He doesn't hear her. What should she do? She writes a letter! And then there is her pounding heart. Because will he read the letter? And will there be an answer? In this visual & non-verbal music theater, two players take the audience on a trip full of surprises. Through honking sidewalk stones, foul-mouthed trash cans, and hungry stray dogs, the road to the neighbor's mailbox turns out to be unexpectedly winding and adventurous… POST! comes from the mind of Gerda Dendooven, who can count on much praise at home and abroad. She won quite a few prizes, and many of her books became plays. Anouck Luyten wishes, waits, sings, and dances. Bo Spaenc is the musical engine of the show and all-drummer. Third player Dries Bellinkx breathes life into the street stuff and magically arranges everything technically. After the successful show ‘Lelijk Eendje’, ‘Het Ei’ is once again hatching a gem for toddlers and for all who like to receive mail.
