The doubt of ‘Do I say it or not?’, the slight panic after ‘Oops, I said that out loud!’ or the frustration of ‘That’s not what I meant’: in Steffie's head sits a committee. That consults endlessly. Always. About everything. Whether it concerns family issues, parenthood, relationships, or a gender transition; the meetings invariably end with: ‘We’ll take it with us.' After years of making teachers - the most critical audience - laugh with her shows about education, Steffie is now taking off all the brakes for a wide audience.
