Day Trip Ename - where heritage speaks

We start our trip with a personal tour by the youngest generation of the family at “Huis Beaucarne” an exceptional 18th-century family home, which has been continuously inhabited, cared for, and preserved since 1748. It is a place where history was not frozen, but is being written further. We let ourselves be carried away by a story full of passion and wonder through the timeless rooms and salons, gardens, and rare grape greenhouse. We conclude the visit with a lunch in the authentic dining room. Within walking distance of 10 min. we visit the provincial Heritage site. A guided tour in the Permanent expo and the Archeopark lets us discover the rich history of Ename. After a visit to the exhibition, we quench our thirst in the heritage café.
