Songs of the Unseen - Various artists

A moving evening where music and image together make invisible diseases tangible, and stories of vulnerability and strength come to life. Muzikant Jozef Sercu was deeply touched by the theme of the past Warmste Week: invisible diseases. He went in search of artists who were willing to make this suffering visible and found them with, among others, Eva De Roovere, Wannes Cappelle, singer-songwriter Stoomboot, and illustrator Kayo Quintens. They entered into conversation with people who carry, embrace, or overcome diseases. They translate the stories into drawings that represent emotions and into healing music that empowers people. During this one-time concert, they bring the songs under the guidance of the musicians of Het Zesde Metaal. > Songs of the Unseen is a project of Het Poorthuis, coordinated by Jozef Sercu.
