Suburban Fury

Sara Jane Moore is the character and narrator of this curious film allowing her to tell the more-true-than-nature story of her incredible life as a double agent in the service of the FBI... and her attempted assassination of President Gerald Ford in 1975. She agrees to participate on the sole condition of being the only person interviewed. Then begins a playful and tense relationship between her and the director to take control of the narrative. In the 70s, while a white suburban single mother, she infiltrated the Black Panthers and radical left-wing groups by starting by spying on Popeye Jackson and the Symbionese Liberation Army, after the kidnapping of Patty Hearst, daughter of a famous press magnate. She says she operates for the FBI under the tutelage of the mysterious Bertram Worthington.
