Lola

A lighthearted romantic fairy tale and, at the same time, a lyrical ode to the city of Nantes, dedicated by Demy to his mentor Max Ophüls. The enigmatic muse—a cabaret singer torn between three men—is portrayed by Anouk Aimée. This marks the first collaboration between Demy and Michel Legrand.
