When 98 strings sound together

In this concert, two harps and a violin bring a varied program, with music in different lineups: two harps together, harp and violin, and also solo works for each instrument. From the Baroque of Johann Sebastian Bach to the romantic sounds of Camille Saint-Saëns and even the contemporary music of Catrin Finch: each piece lets you hear a different side of these instruments. As former teacher and student, Lisa and Ellen are on stage together again, which gives this concert an extra personal touch. They take you through different styles and atmospheres, with well-known names and surprising discoveries. Let yourself be carried away by the sound of 98 strings and discover how beautiful they can sound together. Throughout the 2026-2027 season, we will travel to various Bornem living rooms. Young promising musicians at the beginning of their careers will take the stage there together with their (former) teacher from the Bornemse Academie for Music, Word & Dance.
