Gentse Feesten! For twenty years, the Valse Teefjes, a flamboyant Ghent women's choir, have been putting their own spin and heart into well-known songs. With their latest performance JAJA, the Valse Teefjes want to bring joy, but also share a deeper understanding of life and the world. A selection from the new performance: saying goodbye, unrest about the conflicts in this world, love in all its forms, or how blissful (or risky?) cycling in the city is. Saying De Valse Teefjes in this new performance full of conviction, humor, and confidence JAJA to life! Their tough musicians are: Tine Vandenbussche on accordion, Marijn Thissen on viola, and Pieter Mortier on double bass. Vocal coach is Sterre De Raedt and the direction is by Ineke Nijssen.
