Robrecht looks at his love. There she sits, headphones on, thumb on the screen, probably looking for baby stuff. She wants a child. They are about to embark on that adventure - the last strip is out of the packaging, the hormones are finding their rhythm, life is ready for the next step. Just, as it should be. Apart from his receding hairline, everything seems in order for Robrecht. He has a job, a girlfriend, a life that runs smoothly. But yet there is that unrest: the world around him is racing. War, climate, the unhinged fellow human being. And then there is that other doubt - love itself. He falls in love so easily, what if he cannot keep it up? What if he soon, in the middle of the storm, no longer knows how to remain standing? The future wobbles like a drunkard. Is he throwing everything overboard tonight?
