Step aboard the Orient Express for a musical journey full of style, flair, and celebration. From stately London, the train departs with Purcell and Handel, to steam on via Paris and Vienna to Istanbul. Along the way, the dark ‘Danse Macabre’ by Saint-Saëns, the sparkling ‘Trumpet Concerto’ by Haydn, and the notoriously virtuoso ‘Carnaval de Venise’ by Arban sound. And as is fitting for a real New Year's concert, the ride ends in grand Viennese style: with the irresistible waltzes and polkas of the Strauss dynasty.
