On March 11, 2011, one of the worst nuclear disasters in history took place, yet more than a decade later, the still heavily contaminated region seems to be rebuilding itself. The Japanese government has plans to relaunch its nuclear program. This documentary takes place in this context of tacit consent of society, where an event that was nevertheless dramatic seems to fade on the road to oblivion. Fukushima can make aesthetes fantasize about post-apocalyptic scenery, but the reality behind it is quite different.
